With Philip Cooper now holding the Chair position of the society, changes are attempting to be made. A new stance on open discussion of the committee meetings held bi-monthly has taken place with publication of the meeting minutes within the members forum. New volunteers for the committee roles or simply involvement in the the day to day running of the society are being sort to step into the roles vacant as existing committee members finish their terms. While the society has diminished in its public presence, it still continues to support the interests of pyrotechnic enthusiasts from every area of the UK and abroad.
