I thought this was something else:
Add up these numbers in your head and remember your answer.
1010
1020
1030
1040
Now repeat the sum on a caluclator.
Scroll down if you don't have a calculator, or just can't be bothered to do the adding up and want to know what a the fuss is about.

Most people add it up in their head wrong to 5000, The correct answer is 4100. I got it wrong 3 times before using a caluclator.
