Yes, broadband is only ?2 more expensive per month, but it has a 1gb limit. Still, it keeps things real. It just wouldn't be the internet if I didn't have to wait!

.I have had broadband for years..i started of with IDSN which had 2 lines at 128Kbps (7.5 Kbs) which you could click a button to to use the other line and get combined total 15KBs !! which was way faster than your standard 28.8 K (3.5Kbs)modem... The only catch tho was the that you had to pay for 2 phone calls...eeeEEK!!..
Then i got Satelite Digital Broadband.. which was good when it worked but for most of the time it didnt ..
Then Blueyonder arrived in my area about 4 years ago ...512 Kbps or 60 Kbs...Fantastic...Then 1 Mbit (120kbs) then 2Mbit(240Kbs) and Now just last week they have upgraded my connection for free .To a whopping 4Mbit thats nearly 480 Kbs.. or put it like this 28meg video clip from Freakpyromainiacs takes about 1 minute to download
.....I downloaded A Digitized discovery episode called "Fireworks an Explosive history" about 400meg in about 15 mins ..You can download a full dvd in under 3 hours totaly amazing...You young un's just dont know how lucky you are with all this speed....

The dial tone alone goes straight through you !
Let alone the slllloooooowwww download / upload rate and the horrible disconections, in the middle of the 2 hour download that was just about to become completed.
Once you catch on to broadband, i can tell you that you will wish you never had 56K in the first place
