Worked her out, "Tammy" has a fairly sophisticated natural language grammar based engine, on startup she reads two config files, one which is an ontology of sorts, the other which maps concepts to video sequences to play.

The videos are stored in subdirectories to keep the initial download small, unfortunately the directory indexing is turned off, so you can't find any videos that aren't referenced in the config files. There is several hard-coded idle sequences, and a few other rules. The config files are here:

Whoever wrote her was quite a good programmer. No doubt they learnt much from reading the Chicken one, but Tammy is quite a bit more elegant in her implementation.
