I am not looking for someone to give up their secretly guarded sourses as they are unlikely to be companies in New Zealand. so you only need to point me in the general direction.

Also if goods were not dispatched then we would soon have the money taken back by the credit card company or paypal.

What is a "Highly Flammable Oxidiser"?
I seem to remember you saying that you know a lot about the chemicals you sell. Why is it then, that you are not able to lable many of your products correctly?

I have to say that the kno3 site isn't exactly confidence-inspiring either and prices seem, er, somewhat inflated. . . .Just a quick question for Mr KNO3.COM, hope you see this before too many replys are added!

THIS IS A PYRO FORUM, NOT FLAME CENTRAL.
Any disgruntled buyers please resolve your problems through email and not on this forum.
Perhaps not "FLAME CENTRAL", that's quite good by the way , but this thread is, correct me if I'm wrong, to discuss the purchasing chemicals, or more accurately "Buying chemicals.". This thread is just as much about warning less experienced people as it is about quoting places where you can buy. Every post that contains a bad experience serves as a warning to other potential customers, just like every post saying 'I ordered form such and such and it arrived the next day" serves an indication of reliability.
KNO3.com is a sham, the operator a charlatan, conducting illegal and unsafe activity. If anyone wants to scream libel, don't, you'll make yourself look silly, there is a wealth of cold hard proof. It is because of individuals like these, that strict misplaced legislation gets introduced, and that spoils the freedom and enjoyment of the many.
Perhaps the best way to ensure greater safety (from getting ripped off as well as physical safety), is to 'vote with your feet', or mice in this case. Getting officials involved could potentially aggravates a delicate situation, the media, especially The Sun and papers alike, is already culminating a pitch folk offensive against people like us. Maybe it is in the public interest, and ours for that matter to report the illegal activity. If the HSE were informed of KNO3's activity I'm sure that they would be very interested, not because of the selection of products, but because of the laws they are breaking. Not everyone reads this forum, so I'm sure that KNO3.com will continue to turn profit even if no one from this forum buys from there. But then again, who in their right mind would pay those prices? I have had no ill experience with this company because I have never made an order. I could go on for ages about this, but this is not the thread.
Back on the point, Has anyone noticed "www thechemicalshop com", I believe this and KNO3.com could be one in the same;
Same products
Similar prices
Similar location
Same labels (different colour, nice try!)
Same spelling mistakes
Same factual incorrectness on labels
Same poor knowledge of the law
Same product codes
Same just about everything
I might be wrong, if this is the case I will be the first to humbly admit it. If I am, Mr KNO3.com has some serious issues on his hands.
People do agree,
someone just needs to say it and get it on the cards. There are many disgruntled customers as well, but all their posts went missing one day.I have to say that the kno3 site isn't exactly confidence-inspiring either and prices seem, er, somewhat inflated. . . .
I personally don't really care that much that KNO3.com and thechemicalshop are breaking the law because they are lazy, I'm never going to buy from them. But it's kind of an insult that their carelessness, could perhaps one day lead to the demise of amateur pyrotechnics, just because they cannot be bothered to keep it all above board. They are more interested in profit than the hobby .
Alas, Adam you were right . My post was somewhat unidirectional with little chance of a reply . My post should have been more informative so that forum readers get more benefit per post .

You are a liar, plain and simple.
adamw: I think it is better that people know the truth.
In reply to this none receipt of a order if indded order was not received the we have not received e-mails about this. If Your Going To Complain why go to a forum to do this when an email is the only thing needed to check an order. As all orders leave by signed for recorded delivery or ANC then it is easy to check,
Also if goods were not dispatched then we would soon have the money taken back by the credit card company or paypal.

We generally do not allow commercial discussion over here - although reference to non-member resources does sometimes get a blind eye. While we are happy to see members tell their experience, this thread has gone beyond that purpose on kno3.com issue - and we kindly ask members - and MR kno3 to stop discussion on that matter over the forum.

Perhaps in future, people making posts should bear in mind that posts are ment to be informative. Having a slagging match on a forum, dispite degrading the quality of information, is just uncool, childish at times. Sorry to anyone that has felt the need to vent their anger here .

this is just a few i found with a google search so not sure if they are what your looking for
also try emailing labpak chemicals, they may stock it but not on the site. while on the subject of labpak, when i bought potassium chlorate and zinc powder in the 'what will you use it for box' i put 'to show family members interesting chemical reactions.' does anyone else think telling the truth is worthwhile?
