Couldnt you get somebody from the states to ship it over to you? I'm sure you got somebody is willing to do it, anyways this topic has been covered a million times already.

Regard,
Drew :)

It can't be shipped over borders. I can sorta understand the whole not in the air thing, but land is land. It's not like it is any more likely to contaminate, poison, or burn in canada than the US. I will talk to a friend who sells visco, and see if he knows anyway to get it to Canada. I know of one place in canada that sells it, but you have to have the canadian manufacturing licence.

I can get the stuff from New Zealand to the UK I *think*, just a little steep though, wish it was alot easier to get the stuff over here in the UK like it is in the US. My black match is waaaaaayyy too fast, very dangerous - I need visco also.

Drew :)

Why you getting it from there?? Visco can be bought over here. Blackmatch can be tamed down by changing the formula you use, also fuse can be made from tissue and BP quite easily.

If your blackmatch is to quick make a batch of 'special' BP. Use BBQ charcoal and this will make it a lot slower. Always used to work for me. But i now dont touch Blackmatch!

I have yet to come across any supplier that will provide visco without first showing them a licence. The only place on the net I've found would be hmmm, whats the site called again *checks*... UK Visco - http://www.ukvisco.com ... which would be hmmm Chaz's site right? Anyways I'm not willing to pay that amount especially when I will be using alot of the stuff, I mean e-matches are great for their purpose, but most of the time I really don't want to be setting any wires up, I love lighting the fuse myself. I did find one other supplier however over the phone, but like I said they wanted faxed documents before they would do business with me. Annnnyways, my black match is going to be stored till I have a use for fast burning fuse, I need to make some more with a crappy charcoal like broadsword suggested.

Regards,
Drew :)

?1 per meter isnt really that bad!
Id rather have a reliable decent fuse i.e visco than an annoying less reliable fuse like blackmatch.

Thats the way i see it and you really dont use the great amounts that you think you will!

Personally I pay ?1.20 for that. but I don't buy from this country so my postage would be around 8 quid, so in that sence thats a good price... I would highly recommend you buy in bulk if u need supplies.

Depends how you look at it. For ?10 I would get 5 kilos of KNO3 and 1+ kilos of S. If you can't get them elsewhere then i guess you just have to pay. PM me if you want a link for a cheap and reliable supplier.

GD's KNO3 is ?10.75 for 2kg, and ?3.50 (I think) for 1kg Sulphur
Category 4 Trained to BPA Level 1 Equivalent.
