The Italian member stands corrected
Sorry man, I had a run in with some chavs speaking a foreign language that day (it was actually English, but they were talking in a manor that only they could understand). I should have looked and checked whether your native language was English or not. Schoolboy error on my part!

This formula is what calls for CuSO4 5H2O, Copied from cannonfuse.com, I apologise if the mods have a problem with this, feel free to move it if you do!
Twinkling blue star
Source: Composition in handwriting in the copy of Shimizu[1], present in the library of the Technical University of Delft.
Comments:
Preparation: Add 25 parts 10% nitrocellulose solution in acetone to 100 parts of the composition, and make cut stars. Roll these stars in "priming composition #8", using the same NC paste until stars are round. Add a final layer of black powder in NC paste to ensure ignition.
Magnesium, 60 mesh (treated with potassium bichromate).....23
Ammonium perchlorate..............................60
Copper sulfate....................................17
Potassium dichromate (as a stabilizer)............+5%
It just caught my attention, and I've wanted to try it for a while now! The (C6H5COO)2 Cu is going to be used for the NH4ClO4 Cop light blue, its;
NH4ClO4- 82%
(C6H5COO)2 Cu- 18%
From a quick scan of rec.pyro. Apparently beautiful!
Also the Electric Purple star that has (C6H5COO)2 Cu in it is one that I really wanna try {again sorry if mods dissaprove my copy/pasting}:
NH4ClO4 -68
C6H12N4 -7
SrCO3 -12
(C6H5COO)2 Cu -8
Mg/Al -5
K2Cr2O7 +5
H3BO3 +1
(C6H10O5)n +4
Wet with;
25%C2H5OH
75% H20

Mike
