I ordered some iron oxide and aluminium from him about 4 months ago and it arrived in a very thin plastic bag (the type you'd get free from Tesco ) inside a regular brown envelope.

Is anyone else having problems with Inoxia? Have they gone bust?
I'm a bit spooked by sending my driving licence details to someone I don't know who then doesn't even reply.
Maybe email's playing up......

Haven't been asked for the age verification thing, mind you, I didn't order any chems just some dextrin and some safety equipment.
Will try calling them in the morning and see if I get through.
I am sure the guy who runs it is a regular on here so hopefully all will be good.
Tried PMing him, his inbox is full and he hasnt been on the forum for 10 days now.

Although Inoxia itself, with all the chemicals, stock, packaging etc is kept in our premesis outside of Guildford, I do all the admin side (Processing orders, taking phone calls etc) of things from home. We recently got screwed over by our landlord for being a bit indecisive about moving house, so he let it out to a different group. Because this all happened a bit late the new house we've got doesn't start until 10th August. In the meantime, all my stuff is boxed up and at my parents house, where I'm staying for the 2 month gap. Also there's not enough room for me to live and run the office side of Inoxia so everything has gone a bit to pot. The mobile phone I use as the contact for Inoxia ran out of battery and to be honest I just havn't done anything with it, because all my stuff is so spread out, if I answer a call I doubt I'll be able to answer any question withough rooting through boxes for about 15 minutes.
On the plus side, I've settled down to a routine and orders are going out once a week as usual (Packaged Saturday, posted Monday and / or Tuesday), and if you don't get your order within 10 of placing it something has gone wrong.
Currently there is only one order being held back because of low stock (Shellac, which, as of Wednesday we now have 25kg). There are two orders that paid by cheque waiting to clear (one of which did a round trip with Royal mail because it didn't have a stamp), the rest of the unposted orders were either placed after Friday of last week or are missing a customer agreement and proof of age. If this still doesn't describe your order, something really has gone awry, so please email me with your order number and I'll start rooting through boxes.

I know moving can be very stressful without having to worry about anything else.
I was the guy on the phone btw.

So my question is have any of you ordered things such as ferrotitanium or titanium powders from Skylighter for delivery to the UK. I know that the cost of shipping is quite high, but if it is a reasonable sized order then it is not to bad.
Now for my second question is there any issue with importing the non hazardous chemicals that skylighter will ship here i.e. are they likely to get siezed by customs and a nasty letter sent?.

I have ordered Ti etc from Skylighter in the past with no problems other than a considerable hole in my wallet.
That good to know, I will see if I can put a hole in my wallet this weekend.
