Same old story here too. He said he sent my order, but still nothing. I was away on a short holiday and asked my brother to stay at my home for the time in case my order did arrive. And nothing came. <_<

I received a surprise parcel of goods from Keten out of the blue. Turns out it was for another Gavin but it had been sent to me by mistake! Not wanting a fellow pyro to lose out I got in touch with Lukasz. There followed a short exchange of e-mails in which he couldn't reply fast enough. Why can't he conduct all business like that.

Accepting his assurances that if I posted it on to the other Gavin he would knock the postage off my next order I sent it on. I put in an order for a few items and he deducted the postage from the total. Going on past experience I wanted to see a photo of the order packed for despatch with the shipping label/tracking number before sending the money which he agreed to do.

Guess what happened next......... every single e-mail from me ignored. After giving up for a while I e-mailed for the order status once a week just in case he was on holiday or something and couldn't reply. Several weeks pass and still nothing. It stinks being ripped off especially when doing him a favour.

From reading other posts it seems to be 50:50 whether you get your order or the silent treatment. If only the guy could get his act together

I have emailed him numbers of timesafter he promised I would get my items before 1st July and also said he sent my fuse. So far, nothing. I have asked about how it was going with my package, if I could get 200 mesh magnalium instead of 250, where my fuse was etc.

Out of a sudden he wrote "Ok, you will receive 200MESH Mg" and seemed to have ignored my other questions. I have asked him if he by "Mg" means magnalium, but since communication over e-mail is so bad I think it's worth giving him a call on the phone.

Don't count on it! He almost never picks up his phone...
I did recieve an e-mail from him today after threatening him with legal action saying that he should know what has happened to my package in 2-3 days and that he couldn't really do anything else about it.
Call me a sucker, but I think he will pull through, and if he does, I will order from him again... his prices really are excellent...
Any more stories?

Regards,

Mike

Well, my package hasn't arrived yet. I'll give him some calls I guess. This will most likely be my last order with Keten. I think I have found another Polish chemical supplier. I don't know if they send to other countries yet. That store is not far from the regular route I take when I go to Poland. So I could stack on some chems each time I go there. I'm really getting sick of the slow replies and business that Keten does. Always the excuses, always telling you that he sent the package but in reality he hasn't and comes up with something. Really drives me nuts when you have spend your hard earned money on something and you're not sure wheter you get your stuff or not.

Or better still, just DONT ORDER from him!! He'll soon get the message

Anyone who conducts his business in that fashion, doesnt deserve any customers.

I knocked this guy on the head ages ago....When will you guys learn

Yeah, I haven't had a reply recently either. When I made the order, I did so under the condition that it would arrive by the end of July, so hopefully he'll stick to this final deadline. I need the chemicals for the very beginning of August. I might give him a ring a bit later in the month.

*Apparently*, according to the postal scan, my package entered the U.K. two days ago and should be with me in the next couple of days :D. I'm happy but also wary... I just REALLY wanna make some decent blues and purples!

Mike

Does anyone have a source for German or Indian flake aluminum that ships abroad aside from keten? The only cheapest place i can find charges $6 pounds for 100gm and is out of stock atm.

Just got my package from Keten, soI'm happy :). Anyway, he has really improved on the packaging. No more loose boxes or bags that fall apart when you look at them. The box was covered in a plastic wrap and the containers that hold the chemicals are really good. They are sealed and sturdy, you would need quite some force to break them open. So that are the good sides of Keten. All he has to do now is to improve on the speed. This order has taken about a month (or a little more) to get to me. If he only manages to work on that point a bit.. :)
