Parlon SHOULD be about £13.50 ish per kg and be incredibly fine powder should the new sample be ok that I recieve tomorrow. Red gum is £14.25 per kg definate.
EMAIL ME please or I loose who wants what!! you can see it all on the site and email me from there too.
OOO forgot to say that Im down in London this weekend so if anyone is near and wants anything they can collect in person from me down there? Yep, actually it did improve from the last time i checked. You mean like... the design?
But it's still a little 1990 and for some reasons it's quite slow to scroll; also the he might want to change the domain.
Don't get me wrong, i have only kind words for Cooperman, it's just that i'm a sort of computer nerd (and programmer btw)

yeah but he didnt know that. how could he? you said yourself he's only 4 months into the hobby, did you know everything there is to know about all the compositions possible and what ones are extremely dangerous and which arent at that point?trekkie.I suspect its not the quantity (although it probably did play apart) of the materials you bought but, what you bought. The only thing i can think of making with what you ordered is flash and large amounts of the nasty stuff. If (and its a BIG if) hobbychem did alert the authorities, they did so out of concern. Also, four month into this hobby and your ordering chems like that,it may just be me but,it was around a year before i orderd perc.Just me ???

Well,no,of course i didn't,but i knew how dangerous flash was and not to "play" with it (although he never mentioned he was making it,but with perc and fine metal powders,i couldn't see anything else)
Before i even ordered KNO3/S i did some research on BP and what was involved in making it and the associated risks.I did a lot of reading before i ordered my first chemicals, looking up some of the chemistry involved, what materials did what etc,and lurking this forum as a guest (found the forum years ago but "they" wouldn't let my in )
I'll admit that in my younger years i'v done some stupid things as i'm sure alot of us have but,i soon learnt that there's more to pyro than bangs and started to appreciate the art, craft of this wonderful hobby.
Talk about digging up the past!

Do the panel think this makes ordering from him risky?
Or am I being paranoid?
He has some interesting stuff, but not worth risking if it puts one on a "watch list".

I notice that Keten has red phosphorous for sale,
Do the panel think this makes ordering from him risky?
Or am I being paranoid?
He has some interesting stuff, but not worth risking if it puts one on a "watch list".
No, I don't think that the fact that he offers Red Phosphorus makes him a risky seller.
Yes, inferring no offence, I do believe that in this matter you are being a little paranoid, understandably so however.
I have ordered 3 times and have a 4th about to be paid for. I honestly dont think that there is much to worry about with him. Just my two pence.

Mike
