Could not find any salicylate. Their prices are high, and I don't even know if they ship to Denmark. Sure it might be pure, but KeteN's chemicals are mostly high grade.

KeteN seems to be getting bad press in the UK for his poor dispatch policies. Things do seem to arrive but sometimes weeks after they were expected, and after several missed delivery promises and un-answered emails.

Several UK based members would rather shop in the UK.

Just as a warning to those contemplating keten refunds, you MUST do it within 45 days of payment, I'm pretty screwed actually, having paid him on 5th December I doubt that I'll get a refund. But, I have tried.

I'll keep you informed.

It's a pleasure, and you know what?! I fully agree with you about staying well away from him, it appears he is indeed a con artist, such a shame, but, we live and we learn.

Now, what to do about suppliers?!

So far I have NOT found another european supplier from whom the same range and value of chemicals is available. Many responsible suppliers of chems in western europe want company registration details and VAT numbers, and may even want to see end user certificates.

Does anyone who has actually received a pack from Keten remember if it came by courier from Keten directly with the correct declarations on for customs, or is Keten waiting for the availability of private couriers to get stuff into Britain?

That's correct, he ships the good via GLS and they pass it over to Parcelforce in the UK.
When I received my order it had no customs labels on it but that might have been dealt with by GLS ?

Mike (MMMMMM Pyro) said: "I currently have been waiting 4 weeks and 2 days since I was told it was shipped. "

I find it hard to believe that a major transnational logistics company would take over 4 weeks to shift a package from Poland to the UK
After all, Speed & Efficiency are how these big logistics companies get their reputation.

It seems to me that some one (namely Keten) might be telling big whopping porky pies.

He sent me a photo of a GLS tracking document but the left hand part was cropped with some of the tracking numbers missing, how convenient

I have recently bought something from Keten. Total value about 200 zl including shipping. At first he sent me a picture of the package and told me it was shipped. Then, when I asked him about it a week later, he sent me new pics (now the package had a blue "priotare" band on it)... he also sent a note from the post office or something. However a guy I know, who knows him told me that he is able to fake these (also the print)... the print on the note said it was sent the 13th feb (which was the day he sent the new pics..) so either he was slow at shipping them, or he might be trying to scam me. I was told by another guy I know who bought something from him said it took 3 - 4 days, and since it is weekend now (13 february + 3 days = saturday) he might actually have sent it. The postmen does not bring out packages saturday and sunday here in Denmark. He also told me the story about the hospital - but it might be true seeing as he is working with chemicals(?) and other people from here has gotten the same thing in these few days.

Oh and the tracking number has so bad handwriting that its pretty much unreadable. Bad sign.

I am going to await and see it if comes in the next week. If it doesent, I will just withraw the money from paypal and include this topic in the dispute.

Ill keep you updated...

KeteN can be a pain, I have had problems before, 3 months to get a package, bits missing. I have always got it resolved, but it has been a pain.

It is a problem, as he has a good selection of chems.
Phew that was close.

bloody americans why won't they ship out of the country. I got an email from skylighter telling me they could no longer ship me the steel powder I was going to order because they don't ship internationally at all now. Even things like tools, etc... Seems to be the norm among them now. I don't know why.

It's a chromium alloy and I am not sure if they will ship that to North America... and $10 for a hundred grams is far too expensive for me. I suppose they would make an exception for such a simple compound though? Have any Australians, Canadians shipped from them?
