But anyway I have two further questions: What was the shells weight and how much lift did you use? The mortars flame looked very big so i think you use alot of lift?!

i used 45g BP (2mm grains)
the weight of the shell was 640g

Here is my second 6" shell and my first attempt
to use changing stars.
6"_Spherical_2
weight without lift: 1025g
liftcharge: 50g BP
bursting charge: BP on corncobs
height of break: about 190m
main stars: about 200 tigertail-titan to red (Mg fuelled)
pistil stars: about 100 green (Mg fuelled)
However, nice colors at life shooting but bad colors in
the video.

To match the forum colour scheme?i need some more ideas for shells guys! just seen some fantastic rockets on the forum!! given me a few ideas. does anyone here get all their designs on paper before building or just do it from head? i always record everything for my fireworks. how does a 4 inch paper ball blue&silver palm sound? maybe with a changing silver to blue comet tail?
