I timed it and it was 4.7 seconds! It must have gone really high though, it was perfect!
It could already have been on its way down, too

By the way karl, how did the splitting stars insert perform? Did you construct them as on passfire? My attempts have resulted in only one end blowing out instead of both.

The one in the shell may have blown blind because we heard a crack on the video but i dont remember seeing them light! I think the trick is to try and not have one end much weaker than the other so the same amount of glue for each end.

I'll make a few more tests and let you know karl. I'll try doing away with the powdered clay between the stars and the end disks to see if that helps.
