Anyway, I have got a question: I want to build a palm tree shell. I already pressed 5 25mm charcoal streamers. Now I really don?t know if it is worth to put them into a round shell or if it is exessive work. I like to build round shells but if it will work with an canister, I?d appreciate it...
Any comments on that ?!

That was ruby red, with 325 mesh mgal. I love the bright colors you can get with mgal. I think next I will start experimenting with colors other then blue, red and green.

You can see a few construction pix here:

The thing that?s left is to decide how much lift I?ll use.
Edit: Today I?ll shoot that sweetie. Hope it works well. Got 90g of riced BP under it... FAST BP
I attached two rising comets (silver ones with bright flake AL) to it. Hope they ignote...
The video if it can be found here. Did not work well, so don?t be too harsh to me

Very nice! Can you give details on burst, comet sizes and their break and your burst carrier.
Burst was KP on rice hulls, loaded in using a thin paper cannule, which was removed before capping the shell. Comets were 3/4" crossettes of winokur 39J, broken with 3/16" ID rolled shots of about .2 gram of dark report comp. ( I fill them by volume, not weight, but next batch I will weigh it out for curiosity's sake ). I loaded 2 rings of 6 crossettes each in the shell. Gaps and extra space were filled with pulverone BP. shell weight was 197 grams, which I lifted with 20 grams of 10-20 mesh corned BP.

Was that shell spiked with cotton twine?
What diameter did you make the central cannule?

Frozentech, that was an excellent shell! Hats off to you!

Thanks. It was spiked with 7 strand Irish Linen twine from pyrosupplies.com, and the cannule I used was just under 3/4" diameter, basically as wide as I could fit inside the 2 rings of comets.

EDIT: Little micey are gonna get a treat tonight, chocolate! One drawback, it's on a metal plate and if the micey isn't careful, a metal bar will spring on it and kill it. Bye bye mr mouse.
EDIT 2): Yes, I did use flour paste.
EDIT 3): Yes, I shouldn't have left it out for the mouse.

I already pasted three layers on it. 7 will follow. Then this sweety will see the world from 150m above...
See http://www.flickr.co...otos/pyrostyle/ for further pictures.
EDIT: Here?s the shell pasted in with 5 comets that?ll be glued to it ...

They are as follow:
One with red-report
One with Green-report
One with silver-red-report
Here is the videos of test, without report.
RED-REPORT
GREEN-REPORT
SILVER-RED-REPORT
they are rolled tubes 1/2" id and 2" long. The colour delay is dry pressed on hydralic press to 10mm thick, then the 70/30 flash is added in the remaining cavity and a plug fixed into the open end. They are primed with slurry and grain powder.
