As I said, the last 3 pictures are shells made by St Joseph's Firework Factory. The members of the factory are friends of mine. Lovely people and taught me lots about all sorts.

Is the shell in the last two pictures a bow tie shell?

Yes the 6 inch is a bowtie shell. The small stars are Chrysanthemum #8 with Ti to electric white and the ring has emerald green stars. Currently has 12 layers pasted but i will paste a few more.

The 5 inch has a 2 inch comet ( like this one here ) with 2cm pumped C #8 stars with Ti (again) and a ring with emerald green stars. 10 layers are pasted on this one.

Burst is BP on rice hulls and a flash booster in the middle (no chems for KP :D )

I just fired these 2 test shells 1 with just BP the 2nd shell exactly the same + 2 grams of flash booster.. Filmed from a distance of nearly 200 yds i ran out of klumac red stars so had to use some larger 13mm strontium carbonate stars.. ..... they are no where near as good as the Klumac red more pinkish red ....Here is the video 25 grams and 27 grams lift

Sasman what was the formula for the Strontium Carbonate stars you used? Perhaps Buell Red or veline red?
I liked the pinkish color and I'v got plenty of strontium carbonate laying around.

Paper or plastic shells, and burst carriers are usually a matter of personal preference...

Here's one shell I fired of with a friend a couple hours ago.

It was a 4" round shell, filled with D1 comets and 10mm stars.

Excuse the mobile phone film quality, i didn't have my camery handy so my friend used his mobile phone.
