Lets hope London recovers quickly and shows the world that we wont be changed by these acts. With the G8 happening at the same time, I hope it now makes the nations (including the sceptic ones like France) unite and tackle this together. This should be the positve that comes out of the whole outrage.
I thought Blair gave a very good emotional speech.

Yes, truly a sad, sad day.

I too Think Mr. Blair Gave a Good Heartfelt Speech. I also feel that He won't have such a hard row to hoe the next time he gets in front of the Parliment(?) and argues the good that comes from helping your allies to wayward or unwilling ears. I am truly sorry for all of your loses, Be assured, We'll be right there with you in mind and spirit. To all yours and All of Ours, Hold A Pint High in their honor, They deserve it and so much more.
God Bless Our Troops, May THEY Stay GREEN,
Bear

Oh, and this isn't a plug for my website, I just heard of it on the news and thought: that's a good idea.

The atmosphere last week was very sad and the two minutes silence at midday today was very moving and quite eerie as London came to a complete standstill.
There is a real fighting and communal spirit in London. The true British will not let these evil people disrupt our normal, everyday lives!

The attacks last time were planned better, the attacks yesterday where messy.
I highly doubt 4 attacks would all fail in some way, I think it was different people who did it this time on a smaller scale.
I think it was people fooling around, I don't think the terrorists who did the attacks last time would leave explosives behind, it just gives the police more evidence.
The plans were so messy, they had to resort to trying to ignite explosives with a handgun.
But at the end of the day, a terroist is a terroist and a attack is a attack , and of course this is just my opinion.

Please stop discussing the internals of the attack. We are not b*mb experts and there is no way of guessing what happend. Please keep discussion relevent to the forums.
With all due respect Big G, the wording beneath the heading for this section does read "General topics related or not to pyrotechnics", and therefore that implies that basically any topic is up for discussion as long as it's not abusive etc.

Fully agree - the reason for my post was that some members DID cross the line and started being "sort of abusive" - and there discussion of the details was becoming a bit on the line of "out of scope" for this forum. Thier posts have been deleted / modified.
