Do you use the lift bag method, the contained all in one with leader method or do you drop the contents straight into the mortar and side fuse it? What star composition is it? Shame they plasted to bits.
Edit: Its ok i found it to be side fused, and what prime did you use for your stars?

Well that sort of star wont need a prime as it lights easily on its own, but other stars need a helping hand with ignition. The prime must light easily and be able to ignite the star composition without fail. The stars need the correct ammont of dextrin to give them the strength to stay as a solid lump, the lift charge thump will compress them and turn them to powder if this is not done. They must also be completly dry
