Jacqueline Akhavan has written a rather good RSC paperback on the chemistry of explosives, which was the very first pyrotechnics-related book I bought.
Just to clarify, do we simply turn up on the night, and we can get in- we don't have to be RSC members or anything do we?
Hopefuly I'll see some of you there!

I'll see you there then!
Lord Dannack, Merseyside is a long way to come? I know its more than 10mins, even with my geography?
Myself and Karl will be popping along. Drop me a PM so we know what you look like. We can meet up in the local pub beforehand, If its anything like last year it will be fantastic!
Allways good to meet up with fellow Pyrotechnicians.

I'm not (quite) so dedicated a pyro that I'd drive down there for one lecture!
