What tube diameters do you guys use?

So I thought I'd check beforehand what diameter is most popular. I'm going for about half an inch but I'm still undecided on the exact size it could be 12, 12.5, 12.7 or 13 mm internal diameter. I was going to set up a poll but it seems the forum doesn't have them any more.
My intention was 12.7 mm (1/2") but if an overwhelming number of you are set up for a different size I will rethink my order.

I am currently looking to buy a large bulk order a small diameter tubes with the intention of selling the large proportion of them on.

I use alot 0f 10mm id tubes - basically because alot of my tooling for rockets etc is made from 10mm diameter aluminium or brass rod - which is readily available from DIY stores in the UK (B&Q etc.)

I'll second that! - sizes I would be most interested in would be 1/2", 3/4" and 1", and lance tubes would be a bonus too.
Yep this is what i was thinking! I would say these were probably the most popular sizes that most people would want!
Also not to short! I would prefer to have to cut my tube to length than have small little ones like the americans sell for there 'm60s' or whatever they are!

The hanging waterfalls that I made for last year's fireworks night used 20 mm internal diameter tubes with the smallest wall that could be rolled, it was the best time effect I've ever seen, we had about 18 of these suspended about 25 foot in the air burning a Silver spark composition with small blue stars impregnated in the matrix. I have a video of it somewhere which I will try and post when I can.
Steve,
How did the blue stars display against the bright silver ? I would love to see your video of this effect. Also, I would like to know what comps you used for that. I plan to roll up a serious # of lances for a water fall or setpiece display on New Years, and this sounds like an interesting combo.

Didnt think of waterfalls or lances, those too!!!!! Are waterfall tubes 1/2" x 12"? The ones i have seen are around this size so we also would like various lengths, or long 12-24" ones that we can cut down? Seems your 'smaller' tubes are getting larger
Hi Guys,
I made the tubes for my waterfall - not finished it yet - but it sounds as though 1/2 inch diameter tubes shown in this tutorial? http://www.unitednuc...m/waterfall.htm should be sufficient for a reasonable effect. They are 4.5 inches long and it takes roughly 300 grams of comp tp fill a dozen.
It only took me 30 minutes to make these from standard A4 sheets cut down the length.
I am very interested in 1/2", 3/4" and 1" tubes - preferably 3 - 4 mm wall thickness.
Sorry if this post is a bit untidy - my first post here - although I have been reading lots and experimenting a little over the last 2 years or so..
Thanks for all the info & Help
