Has anyone got in contact with HMRC and found out about duty to pay, also has anyone contacted an import agent or is someone already versed in tarrifs etc.

Did you guys know you can ship fuse by air? Assuming it's 1.4S, which it most probably is, then it can be done.

It's really not a good idea to put your e-mail address on a forum, spam companies scan forums for e-mail addresses.

It's illegal to spam in the uk so if i find anybody that sends me spam, i always report it their isp by tracking the ip address.

Only problem is its not in other countries, for them I just hope my spam filters catch it.

It is not always easy to track them, especially if they're using a remote gateway in another country or using a pass-through.

Just use the normal projedure. Simply make abc_removethis@host.co.uk out of your mail addy and then remember the members to remove everything between the "abc" and the @ to mail you.

This is quite common in newsgroups and should be used in forums all the time. Don?t only fight spam, don?t motivate them to SEND spam. Their address-searchers can?t handle this strings...

comes in nice 50kg drums right here in the UK
oh, and fuse is normaly in 50m roles.
just seems like a whole lot of bother shipping etc.. anyone tried picking up a phone and talking to local suppliers instead of hiding behind e-mails etc ?

Listen i spent ages trying to email suppliers... never much luck.. i spent over ?800 on the gear to make Perc... sods law steps in and when you use the phone you actually get positive responce..

Same goes for visco.. ?5 or ?6 for 50 meters is easily available in the UK read all on this forum and all will become clear..Read what BigG ,Adamw, Richard H, and the Djinn has said.. on the chemical side you will have to pay... 25 Kg is usually the smallest amount.. sometimes 50 kg or 100 Kg + but all is available..( i cant find Ammonium perchlorate cheap though).. If you buy Perc from China dont pay more than ?1.50 kg ?..

Sasman......Why did you spend ?800 on the gear to make perc if you say it an be bought cheaply here in the UK? You'd have to go through mountains of the stuff to make it economical

?5-6 for 50m of visco?? maybe possible if you have the neccesary papers, but most of us dont, so we have to pay through the nose. I have tried to buy fuse from soooo many places, and they either charge at least ?1 metre or only deal with people with licenses.

Re: visco from china, so far ive had nowhere near enough interest to make it worth while
