I don't want to keep bumping this thread... can everyone who has uploaded to the database PLEASE add your name to the upload so I can section them!

You can do this when uploading by adding your name to the description or if you have already uploaded please post a comment in the video/image when you click to view it.

Karl the website deleted you from the users list because you didnt activate your account within an hour I have changed this setting to 24 hours now.. did you receive the email?
If not I will add your username again and send you a new password.
When uploading images and videos its a good idea to signup first so it automatically adds your name to the upload.
You can add a comment under each upload in the Media > Pyrotechnics section and I will copy and paste that into the upload details. There is a comment box under each file when you click on it, just add it there, logged in or not.

i put up the rocket motor test & red star mine videos. i dont see how to tag them or anything?

Over complex? hmm, well let me know what you think is complex and I'll try and improve it, I don't want it to be complex!

Ahhh I just found the problem, the permissions on comments were not enabled, I do apoligise - it's just that originaly the site was designed for people to login so it knows who you are.

You can now post comments on each image/video.

I will transfer your vids into your folder now, thanks for the uploads!

Had a few glitches at first, could Creepin_Pyro upload your 2 vids back into the folder I've made for you, and can everyone check everything is in the right places, if its not leave a comment in the comment box after you click on the file to view it.

Edit: I have disabled email verify so we don't have any more problems with people not being able to access their email.

As a matter of fact, I don't have any videos. I've only gotten one video of any of my devices. That one was lost in the crash. I might have a copy somewhere. All my videos are in my head. I hope to get a camera soon and be able to tape some stuff. I can rent them from my university, so I will make a bunch of stuff and go out and shoot them sometime.

The website is going to be called Pyro World btw, so far I have seymour and me as admins, I'm going to have to buy a new domain name, the site is being transfered over to a gigbit OC47 connection in texas sometime either tonight or tomorrow so you should expect some very nice speed

Website is finally hosted on a proper server, very fast speeds etc so the site is going to stay up, I can finally start getting some proper work done on the site.

Please please keep your work coming, it's nice to see what everyone has created, especially karlfoxmans shells they look good, just need some vids dude!

umm, i tried to put up another rocket test video, but i found that your site has broken my other video. Seems to think its an mpg??
Its an avi encoded with xvid. Doesnt it work with that?
And you have forgotten to chmod your directory for uploads!
And how do you stick your name on videos? or do you just organise it when you check them?

Heya, erm unless I accidently changed the file type, or I got it confused with the other rocket test on there... I just sorted the chmoding out, I thought the archive would have kept the permissions, obviously not... erm, well if you login and upload it puts your name in the actual upload, not in the description - im going to make the whole system alot better as soon as I finish some content for the main pages.
Can't wait for more!
It's on 1000mb so you should be able to upload the max your connection can put out.

Bloody HDD on the server crashed last night at 4am, so I left the website uploading over night, I think i got the permissions sorted now, if anybody would like to keep informed about whats going on with site, could they signup and I'll send everybody an email when there is some real content up.

Sure thing! As long as noone takes my work and says its their own, its all good!

There will be more videos from me during the christmas vacation, so I hope you have room for some more!

Probably more different coloured smoke movies and some pure pyro.

That smoke greanade, was it homemade or was it a proper one? I've never seen so much smoke off a single device before, I must have watched that about 10 times now! And magenta one, WOW thats some colourful smoke!
