Well i have been doing some chemical testing lately with safe cheap alternate chemicals and here is one which reacts very well but i couldn't light it has good today due to improper materials were has last time it worked better but here is a pic showing each part of it.

Like Adam says, it's difficult to tell, the picture isn't very clear.
Category 4 Trained to BPA Level 1 Equivalent.

Not hot like that nor has hard to light it is very fast actualy.

Oh that picture i had to cut off into one so thats multiple views and its from a vid so yeah. Also it was Onion powder, and Lew don't be abruptive dude i was just showing my experiments for chemicals.

The thing about this are
1) it dosn't create alot of smoke.
2) it only uses two chemicals.
3) it was a pain to grinde but it works and my test succeded.

what did you use more then onion powder? I really want to try this! :D

really cool idea.. doubt that it will revolutionize the pyro world, but still it's very cool :)

Thnx Neo I used KNo3 and onion powder it does actualy smell of onion and i like to do these tests to find new alternatives and it burns with a bright light.

Note grinding Onion skin is realy tricky so use a ball mill lol. Also ones the two powders are mixed you should get a orange looking fine powder this is greate then burn it up.

i like eating dried onions, the stuff you get on cheese and onion crisps is the same, the dried onions taste sweet, and not like normal onions!
