3 years ago i went to Malta (Gozo) for our summer holiday with my familiy. There we enjoyed VERY (2hours+) long pyrotechnic displays. Even during the day. So my question is, does anyone have a list of their festivals where fireworks are involved.
I'd apriciate it if anyone could post it here or email them to me (jaka.levanic@volja.net).
Thanks

I'm sure one of them will have a list of major festas involving a few fireworks
Quick bit of history - Malta was the place I first saw fireworks and I've loved them ever since. I still remember the noise, the smell and all the pretty coloured lights in the sky. Wonderful stuff

Might pop over myself .... should be one hell of a weekend . I wonder if it's possible to get to talk to some of the factories ???? My friend Charlie was holidaying in Gozo and found one of the pyros who had a little business there very glad to talk to anyone who had a genuine interest.
Currently talking to the UnionBand boys, so might arrange a visit More the merrier

Makes interesting reading. I like the bit about there being about 33 licenced firework factories on the island. It's about the size of the Isle of White! Wonder how many unlicenced factories there are.....
