Ok so its illegal for you to construct solid rocket motors but what about the reloads for say an aerotech solid rocket motor,if you have your Ammonium Perchlorate reload storage, handling and transportation license,is it possible for you to cast your own reload 'as under the law you can prepare rocket fuel for experimental use' as the reload will only be inserted into the motor case when you get to the launch or will the second you drop the reload into motor it be considered a home made rocket motor and you'll get cuffed after all the actual motor will be non home made?
On a second note if it is legal under the law to do so would you be allowed to fire the motor at a british rocketry association launch in the experimental category?
Just clutching at straws tryna beat the system, I'm pretty sure there'll be some draconian law that stops this,on the other hand might prove an interesting dicusion

You can prepare 100g of composition for experiment, demonstration etc, but that is all. You cannot put that composition into a tube, or press it into moulds, as these are acts of manufacture.
Casting fuel grains is without a doubt manufacture, but providing you had licenced workshops, I see no reason why UKRA would disallow such a motor under the experimental category.

Thanks for the reply Richard ,To clarify you need an explosive manufacture license to cast a propellent fuel grain even of 100g or less and this would be no different\the same as the near on impossible to get pyrotechnic manufacture license?
