I got to do my first pro pyro shoot this last Friday.
Here's a link to the video I shot from the dashboard of my truck.

Nothing like standing next to a 6 incher when it goes off!
What a thrill!
Can't wait for the next one!
Thanks to Frozentech for uploading this.

looked nice from what i saw and heard, but tilting the camera would be better so we can see the breaks.
sounds like a good time.

So, I don?t wanna start a new topic for that, BUT yesterday evening was my first time, I could help setting up and fusing a display.
It consisted mainly of damn huge fans and batteries and had 8 3" mines, 4 x 4" and a single 8" and 6" as the finale. So you guys might think that this was a very small one but very exciting for me nonetheless. I went there with a thought like "Maybe I?m allowed to carry some moratars and look over the guys shoulder" but after I watched the guy, how he did this and that I was akkowed to fuse the shells and stuff all by my own.
So it was a great time and standing next to so damn many batteries when they fire is crazy s**t. I was totally flashed
I can help with the next display in 2 weeks too. So, this is my first impression of this business and I really appreciated to help out with a show, where the ppl afterwards said: "ooooh sweeeet, aaaah" and applaud.

Wunderbar!
Glad you enjoyed 'rigging' a show! I think there will be a lot of shows in DE for the World cup, right?

I put a few pix from that show online. A video will follow soon I guess. It was a great show. the mortars were placed ~300m away from the crowds slightly angeled. So the b**bs exploded right over the lake and filled everything with a great light reflected by the water. WOW it was amazing.
The rest was great battery and fanned fireworks which is so damn impressive.
