If BigG and karlfoxman would like to have payed notice to how long i have been a member of this forum for, before you started flaming me about wanting to make flash you'd of noticed im not just getting into pyro. 3 years i have been a member of this site and only now do i want to make flash and thats just to add a little more crack to the break on my shells, instead of H3. Big G if you think i havent made bp rockets ect ect. in 3 years of being on this site what do you think i have been doing.

I have just recieved what i hope is alluminium powder. But im unsure so how can i test if it is? I have mixed up a crude little flash powder but it just crackled.

If you have no clue IF you have Al powder let alone WHAT type, I suggest like others who replied to steer away from flash for just a little bit longer.

I'll look in to purchasing that book of amazon soon.If you insist on working with Flash as you say you have enough experience with it I would HIGHLY recomend Ofca's book on working with Flash. It is highly informative and will give you some great information on how to do so safely since we can't control what you already have your mind set on.

The powder looks different to the 350 mesh stuff i had for flittering, its darker but when it hits my finger it sticks to it and the whole finger goes silver. Im fairly sure it is aluminium i just wanted to check and make sure.
Im sure mixing half a teaspoon of comp, and lighting with visco is safe.
