If I were you, I'd use another charcoal. I believe balsa grows in the rainforests of brazil and is also grown in plantations. Maybe liberate a tree. :P I'd guess if you look you can probably find someone near you who can sell it. Balsa charcoal is brilliant for BP. You will probably need to slow it down for lift. It's also easy to powder, crush it with your fingers or push through a sieve.

EDIT: Willow isn't essential for lift, and balsa BP burns faster.

Balsa seens pretty good for BP for what you said, but with a few research I found it only grows in Amazonia area,I live pretty far from there and I suppose I could only find it here for selling as charcoal for barbecue which contains a lot of impurities. Thanks for the information though :) :P
PS:I only think the information about balsa tree in plantations here is false,I doubt someone would plant it here instead of extracting it from the forest :P

If it's only 200g that you want then you might try going to your local artists supply shop. Artists charcoal is traditionally made from willow. You get about 30-50g / box.......

Just make it! To make the 200g you need should only take one big can full of wood. Surely there is a softwood that grows near to you?

I think I may have acess of balsa wood(buying it),can I use a common gas stove to make this small amount of charcoal?
Thanks :)

Yes you can, but it will cost a lot of money in gas cans! Better is to make a fire out of scrap wood (which is not suitable for making BP charcoal) and then make the charcoal using the heat from the burning wood. This way you can also burn off the gas produced from the charcoal tin (it will ignite to become a jet of fire)

You can even use to escaping buring gases to heat the fire additionally. So no heats gets lost.
