Just downloading now, around 8Kb/s - we need more peers!

Yeah it is horribly slow :( my poor internet upload connection is suffering.
Might be quicker to send out disks at this rate!

I've just started the torrent and added the files that I completely downloaded previously, 50.4% of them apparently. It's chugging along quite nicely now.

Have no fear Prof, one shall see the benefits of distributed transfer of data soon enough, you can limit the upload speed (so that it does not interfere with usual operation) on the bittorrent client.

nice work btw

All this Bittorrent talk has reminded me that I still haven't shared the HD footage I found from the new year celebrations in London.

Here's the link if anyone's interested. I'm seeding now:

http://www.torrentbo...ksBBCHD.torrent

Worth a watch as long as your computer can handle HD!

Prof, your computer is 41ms away from mine as the electron flies.

Well wave front there and back through various lag inducing buffers etc.

So, I added both torrents (BigBangs and HD Material). Hope I get something of the cake as I´ll upload it with
50kb/sec again and this PC is online 24/7.

cheers,

paul

EDIT: Yeah, works great so far. DLing 125kb/sec ULing 50kb/sec.
Additionally I must say: This mark Williams.... is AT LEAST strange :)

I'm at work - no idea about the ISP, but I'm uploading the BBC footage at about 60Kb/S, and the BigBangs at around 160Kb/S. Not bad eh.

I'll leave this machine seeding over the weekend for y'all ; )
