How do you make Dextrin!

All i no is that it is Dextrin can be made by cooking cornstarch until golden brown
what could i use for cornstarch i cant remember i did make some last year but can not remember what i used to make it.

Search and u will find . But to save u the bother:)
1- Bake cornstarch in tin foil for about 3 hours stirring every 30 mins (200c)
2- Test for starch (Iodine solution can be purchased in the chemist for about €1 a bottle)

For cornstarch, I recommend.... cornstarch. It is what it is. I am not even going to bother searching for the dozens of sets of instructions on how to make dextrin, since you obviously have not !

Yh i have iv searched on google for how to make Dextrin and loads more and found nuthing iv searched this forum and nuthing.
