I went to an all girls school in drag for a day
Nice!!
Drag parties are so cool!!
I remember one I went to (wont mention my government colleagues that I went with) they are so,... well... you've got to go to one to find out how much fun they are!
Given recent examples of threads divulging into absolutely nothing to do thing the title (coin mints anyone!) I can see this thread getting pretty interesting!!!

I tryed doing this a few years ago on Brighton sea front, (at the fat boy slim cons).
After about 20 minutes a police officer and one of the event organizers come over and told me and 2 others to stop.
They said that we needed to have a licence to sell any thing like that and were asked to leave . Damm shame had over ?300 worth of stock on us. Anyway we ended up walking along the front selling them to people going to the concert and made a nice wodd .
We Sold glow sticks (6" ones) at ?3.50, the necklaces (22" tri colour) at ?2.50 and we even had glow in the dark whistles that we knocked out for ?2.50.
If ya going to have a go at this i would try getting hold of the organizer first, you may be able to pay them a fee to sell. If not be careful or other sellers they seem to get a bit naffed off if their doing it legit and your there taking their bussines.
?30 in quidz sould get ya going and maybe some 50p depending on the price your selling at.
Would go for the money belt if i was you, to many people taking chances now days most of them round brighton have hoods (if ya no what i mean like innit)
Hope this has helped anyway
good luck with it all .

How much did you make? Did people just come up and ask to buy them or did you shout out you were selling them? How did you manage to carry £300 of stock on you?

Well after getting kicked out and walking along the front, we didnt need to shout out because we had some of the golw sticks, necklaces broken and were wearing them and were also blowing the whistles. People just come up to us as we were the only ones outside the event selling this stuff.
As for walking around with this stuff we had a van very close but i had a suit case (the ones with wheels) rammed full of the glow gear. Was a bit of a mission at the start but the more I sold the lighter the case was.
Had blisters on my hands for 2 weeks they wernt nice !
As for the money we got the stuff so cheep, and had so much as far as i can recall i was just over ?3800 up.
Not bad for 7 hours work. But as i found out after could of ended up in court for not having a license .
Let me know if you need any other help on this.
All the best

I'd carry the float money and anything much more than that I would drop off somewhere - the bank, a trust-able friend nearby or at worst securely hidden in the van.
All you need is some yob mugging you - if you only have a little on you, you can give them that and still have the majority safe.

Where did you buy your stuff from? I'm now looking at wax torches atmo, but I can't find them cheap yet.
