What would you like to do? I mean what areas interest you?

It far better starting at the end result and working towards that than starting with a chemical and going forward from there.

With all those metals that you have, the normal thing is to combine them with your BP for pretty sparks and the like (depending on particle size)

As you know, kno3 is an oxidiser, so whatever you decide to SAFELY add to it, I would start with a fuel!

Sorry if all this sounds obvious.

Well that would depend on particle size and type.
If it's extremely fine flake, then you might be able to make flash out of it BUT I feel sure that most people here do not consider making flash as something to do just to try something new. (IE it should only be made if you REALLY need it and have a need for it)

If it's larger mesh size, then they will be just fine for a nice fountain: Simply take some BP and add* 20% of your chosen metal powder. (*By add I mean put BP on a sheet of newspaper sprinkle the 20% of metal powder on top and mix by gently lifting up the corners of the newspaper until well mixed.)
Visit the Fountain Formulas section for load more ideas and help.

Smoke devices can by made using your kno3 and sugar (or types of sugars) Type "Smoke" into the search box at the top and I'm sure you'll find lots of ideas on how to make them.

Have you made Black Match/Quick Match? Blue (or any colour) touch paper?

Failing that, kno3 is great for tomato plants!

I have only made BP and some type of smoke b**bs(with sugar, and then just to see food serving as a fuel I did with powdered chocolate, powdered milk and with a cookie that I don't know the name of it in english) :P The strange is that the smoke b**b with powdered chocolate worked better than the sugar one
Thanks for the tips :)

A flying pigeon is basically a driver attatched to a length of wire which is strung across the display area. When the device is lit the 'pigeon' will fly back and forward on the wire (depending on how many drivers are on it). To make these devices more interesting you can add small coloured flares.
They are very rarely used anymore and come more from the era of Brocks set pieces. It isn't something i would recommend doing in your back garden!

I'm sorry, how long did you say the fuse was?
