When I applied I had to explain why I wanted to join and provide a little background information on myself.
Have the admin team waived this rule now or was our new member just having a bad day?
Couldn't believe it was a real post when I first read it - How could he think any of us are into that sort of thing
Regards,
Simon.

I think he deserved to be banned just not to be informed upon.

Due to the sheer number of people wanting to join it was no longer possible to run the manual approval system as it stood. At present we no longer manually validate each user. However, we are taking a tough approach, as you just saw demonstrated.
Let's hope this doesn't mean a sudden influx of kewls, trolls and spambots!
s2525 - I think it's prefectly reasonable to pass anyone's details to the authorities who publicly states they want to make a b**b. To not do so would be irresponsible, especially when what he's trying to do goes against the core principles of the society.

He'll just get a lecture probably, if he's that dumb he'd just hurt himself (or someone else) anyway.Thats just some little kid,Why give his details to the cops?
I think he deserved to be banned just not to be informed upon.
Then get a lot more than a lecture, during which he'd say where he got the information to do it.
