I don't believe this chemical serves any purpose at all in pyrotechnics. However I do believe it is used in the manufacture of HE.
Adam W might have something to say about this. Selling pyro chems is all well and good, but selling stuff like this is not a clever thing to do.

It absolutely does not serve any purpose in low explosives. You could make paint out of it I suppose, or a certain high explosive. Not a very wise idea. If you thought making some flashpowder is frowned upon by the authorities, dabbling with this sort of stuff will give them good reason to swiftly lock you up.
