Got those videos rendered from the HD camera.

4lb Whistle with 2.5" TT comet to report, this is from a few days ago but just got it rendered. Much better than the original SD video.

Red Ghost Mine, first attempt overlifted

1 gallon fireball, this one is shot from a better angle than the other, it's a much better video of the same fireball.

4lb Ti Whistle to Blue Stars

Nice videos there! I´ve got one question regarding video quality. In your "4lb Whistle with 2.5" TT comet to report" video you can clearly see those black lines which only exist when video data is not propperly deinterlaced.

So, did you deinterlace the video for watching it on a pc monitor?

My first very own firework pictures are online!!!

Hell I didn't even render it. I'll have to ask my brother.

I just went and checked the video for the black lines and I didn't see anything.

I picked up some 6lb strobe tooling today! Game on! Already have a BP and Whistle made up for tonight. Gotta leave for Louisville tonight so the videos are going to be from my regular camera.

6lb Ti Whistle to report. This is my first 6lb rocket.

6lb BP with 10% Ti Flake to report

I wanted to test out this Ti flake I have to see if it's any good. The other Ti flake I have was junk but this is pretty good. Nice sizzle. The whistle rocket has the Ti sponge 18-30 mesh, the BP rocket has the Ti flake that is not labeled for mesh size, but looking at it I'm guessing +10-20.

Both looked like nice ti tails 6lb'ers are huge good for your first try at them would have thought you had been doing them for years haha. Maybe a bit under stabalized though?

They are just a touch understabilized, good eye. I have four foot oak sticks on hand and for those I think I need 5 or 6 foot sticks. Now that I'm back home I'm going to get a few large glitter rockets up and running. I have the 2.5" comet pump, and I think those would be a real nice head on one of the larger rockets.

2lb Whisper Glitter to report with blue and tremelon star stick

This is the white powder rocket. Basically black powder with salicylate instead of charcoal. This is with no nozzle.

3" Drippy Comet, the large Ti needs to come out, it's eating the Al glitter

3lb Whisper Rocket with 7 1.25" glitter comets

3lb Red and Green strobe rocket, this looked great in person and the motor actually oscillated between green and red.

6lb Whisper Rocket with 3" comet to report

Mostly good results tonight, but the strobe rocket bit me in the keyster again. For some reason my strobe mixes burn very slow and the rockets always manage to find the ground before they terminate. This time it cost me a 2.5" Blue Flash salute.

Switching gears here for a couple of days. I made some hummers up, about 25 of them for a shell I'm trying to build. Anyways, tried a couple of different things, mostly I'm pretty happy with them.

Standard hummer, both ends plugged, tangentially drilled vent, my hummer mix.

2 vented hummer with one vent fused.

Open ended hummer. One end plugged the other exposed pressed fuel. This one had a really cool wind down but it may have been from the 20 foot straight up bounce it took.

3" Ti Whistle Mine

I'm not particularly satisfied with the results, but it did work. The inserts had 10% Ti so a night fire would have looked much better, still the sound was touch weak.

Cool, why did you light them in the day?
Why don't you fire another set in darkness and then show us? ;)

I was getting bored and I figured there was enough Ti in it to follow even in daylight. I'm actually glad I fired it in the daytime, it was easier to see, or at least it could be seen better. I saved the big Ti rocket for later that night when the sun was down.
