Ok, i've been reading around and have learned that you can make dextrin from cornflour. Can anyone please explain to me the process of how to make it?
Thanks in advance.

Certainly alot about it on that thread, but my experience is:
layer of cornflour 1cm thick. Top of an oven at 220 degrees. Cook for 2.5 hours - move it about occasionally to make sure it converts fully. I'm not sure how chemically complete the conversion is, but it works fine for stars etc...
