Well we are lucky here. We've got a place called Matas which sells makeup, stuff for the house and such. They sell sulphur as a way to get rid of unwanted animals such as cats and dogs.
As far as I know it is just pure sulphur. It is like flour and cost around 5£ for 600 grams. Maybe a little expensive, but it is great for BP

Can some one please tell me how best to wash crystals?.. I am trying to purify a chemical.. i super saturated the solution and they slowly cooled the solution so i get big crystals..I have just done that.. and have just put it in the freezer to cool even further..

The crystals have taken up about 2/3 of the container(5 liter beaker)..I know you are supposed to wash the crystals with ice water? How do i do that?.. All i have is a large plastic funnel and some filter paper & a 5 liter pyrex beaker... should i get a vaccum flask and filter funnel?..

How many times should i have to recrystalize the chemical to get rid of all the sodium?..I used Sodium Perchlorate + Ammonium chloride..So the chemical i want to remove all traces of are sodium chloride?..

thanks..
