I have recently been finding it hard to find some of the chems i need like mg ribbon and potassium mangnate.
If anybody could shed some light on this topic it would be very much apreciated. I know of hobbychem but they have a real small selection.
All posts verry much appreciated,
Regards

It all depends on your location but i cant see why you need permangante, there is no reason why it should be used in pyro, its an unstable oxidiser (do a search and all posts will say the same thing). Also this is a Tooling section you might have been better off searching for a chemicals thread

c-lab, 1stly as Wyvern mentined this is a tooling thread. The questions you are asking are covered in different threads. Search and ye shall find :)

"2ndly, you are obviously new to pyro, and as such, i strongly reccommend, if you want to keep your fingers where nature intended, you stay away from flash of any kind.

Just a little concerned about this post, apart from the obvious permanganate flash idea but also that someone who has just put a post on the legalities thread condeming making even 100g of BP and of all things unholy storing it who then goes on to ask for help obtaning chemicals for making what is likely to be an almost deadly composition.

Just a bit worrying this!
