I'am not sure this is new but it has been in my head for a long time. I was thinking of two wheel drivers on a long stick and two wheels on the middle of the long stick. So the two drivers spin it like a normal wheel and the two middle ones spin in the middle. Has anyone tried this. Also do any of you think this will work.
Thank you

Also from bonny post I will have details on how to make it, if I get around to it.

I'v been sitting on this idea for couple of month myself, but the other way round, with drivers in the middle and the "independent" wheels at each end.

I was thinking of that way but I think the drivers would be more powerful on the outsides of the stick. If you use powerful drivers in the middle it might work. Remember the drivers in the middle need to be fast and powerfull. If you put the drivers on the outside you could use a slow propellant, maybe even greenmix (But not that good of a effect).

I totally agree, but with regards to the effect,i think it would be best placing the wheels on the outside. You could add 5-10%Al to the drivers aswel for added effect.
I'm going to push my idea forward an start experimenting . Please keep us up to date pyroman89,if you do build one.

With regards to the drivers i'm thinking 75/15/10 and playing with milling time to obtain desired thrust and speed of rotation.

I think 75/15/10 would be to hot of a propellant. I think I will try a slow bp mix with added steel. I also say that the wheel should spin a bit faster then the drivers because on the video it does not look like the wheels are even spining. So I say fast bp with added effect and slow bp with added effect. Pudi thats a good point. I think I will try some experimenting with the devices.
