That particular rocket took 1555 grams + 75 grams of Ti sponge.

From what i have read onthe APC forums ~750g of standard 70:30 flash, please correct me if i am wrong cpl

Wyvern you're right, I just used plain old 70/30, in a salute this large it would be a waste to use my hotter flash. And I'm running low on some of my other metals. Creepin it's funny you post that video, I was there. That's my buddies rocket and he's really the impetus for my trying my hand at it. He did all his tests of that rocket at my place. Believe it or not that was a whistle rocket too, but he used a little over 20% Ti and it ate up all the sound. I just talked to him yesterday about the rocket, we are going to be making a few more for another club shoot coming up, his tooling is different than mine though, he uses a little shorter core because he wanted his rocket to ascend VERY slow, now he knows how to make some serious salutes and rockets. In all honesty he is the one who convinced me to get started in hobby pyro and he helped make sure I knew enough to keep my digits.

Also a nice uk source of Sodium Salicylate wouldnt go amiss either, only thing i have is benzoate at the moment which i hear is an inferior fuel as far as it is less powerful.
