Saw that one the other day:Making black powder on You-tube. weigh out the ingredients on the computer desk with the TV in the background, then carry the loaded ballmill into another room with a white carpet prior to milling for hours!

EDIT: Personally i think we shouldn't be posting links to stupidity. We practice our hobby safely and things like this only give us a bad name.

There is shit all over his desk, he is mixing green mix in a plastic bag while sitting down and his room looks cluttered as hell, thats a recipe for disaster. The method he uses for making his rockets is crap, most of the time the plug will blowout and even if it does work his shoddy way of drilling the cores will mean then will fly at wonky angles.

the bench is a 1940`s solid oak desk/bench rescued from an old school Lab.
and although I don`t really do any Pyro here like those above, there is a bunsen burner about a metre away from PC, and I will indeed do "Wet" chemistry as well.
so I guess I`m probably a Little bit naughty, however ball milling BP ANYWHERE is crazy, it can be quite dangerous just doing one ingredient at a time with Static (alu powder and the likes spring to mind).

I was pretty disgusted watching he weigh the chems too, he strikes me as the sort that could add a little too much and then go back into the bag and scoop some out and return it to the container! contamination like that is Begging for trouble
I see what you mean by the carpet now as well, I didn`t know he was actually milling it INDOORS TOO!
sadly this sort of thing is likely to tar us with the same brush
btw, did you hear his comments at 5:13 marker, about them being "not all that sensitive to static", WHO Cares Chump! even a Little bit sensitive is enough.

Think the same, added as a comment and flagged it as "inappropriate"... There are too many of these videos
around...

Yay, we got it! I think we should continue this work. Even if only a few people flag a few videos per month,
at least these videos can not "harm" any kiddies anymore.

Excellent idea.I for one will be doing it.
