Thats right yes lmao didnt you know...had an advertisement as my sig for a month until i got told to remove it!

Your better off getting them closer to home try usa less postage or china which ever way you go for thick walled tubes your guna pay a lot for postage and thats even if your buying in aus. As an example 50 x 4 inch long tubes with 1" ID is just under 2.5 kilos/ 50 x 10 inch long tubes with 1" ID is over 6 kilos.

A LOT of people have told me from feedback that they are the best quality pyro tubes they have ever used and no sleaves are needed when pressing the 3/4 inch and 1 inch ID rockets using my tubes - and about half of the feedback was from pyros in the USA!! Shame it has to stop but not enough money as i say.

Your tubes looked awesome, they look like they are made of solid wood

Now that your clearing stock i might make a order, any idea how much 20x 1/4" tubes weigh?

Yea they were very strong tubes no doubt in fact they are the strongest tubes available that i know of and have been told by many people the same thing. Shame it costs a b**b to send them.

20 x 1/4 inch tubes will weigh around 220g total including packaging to Aus. So about 3 quid with postage and packaging using royal mails air mail service.

Thanks for letting me know mate and sorry about the huge delay in getting them out. Hope to see some nice big rockets and such with the 1 inchers especially haha careful with the 1 inchers though seriously they shoot off like a friggin bullet.

For anyone who has been wanting some tubes before bonfire night, stocks are running low so if you want them for a fireworks show on the big night i can suggest ordering now as they will not last until then, few more weeks they should be all gone if sales keep up. As on my site once these quality, thick ass tubes are gone they are gone for good.

I looked at the price of buying tubes then bought dowel rod, a roll of 80gsm lining paper, and wall paper paste The first batch are good but now im going to cover the former with sticky backed ptfe sheet I should be able to twist the tubes really tight and still pull them off the former. The dowel former is a perfect rammer for finished tubes.

I'm to are very satisfied with the tubes you sent me pyromaster, very nice quality.

When rolling tubes yourself I suggest you try waterglass as glue.
It's cheap, fireresistant, easy to work with and it realy dries rock solid.

thanks i'll give water glass a go other name is sodium silicate just experimenting with cone shaped bp rocket nozzles as more efficient than hole has anyone tried fire putty as nozzle material as if i ram a nozzle it limits the size of the centre void re diameter considering replacing bp with kno3/sugar cast pellet

Are you going to make 3lb core or endburners?
I'm thinking about ordering some of those 3lb tubes to, what kind of payload would the be able to lift?
I use my 1lb for 3'' shells, would a 3lb rocket be able to lift a 4'' shell?

3lb coreburners is the only way to go, as lifting a 4 inch shell, i dont know to be honest but i guess it will, try some dummy shells, but in a good open space!, ho by the way iam trying to dial in a coreburner rp whats your comp?

For 1 pound rockets I use 65/25/10, the charcoal is all pine airfloat.
I mill it for 1 hour, than add 15% water and rice it to keep the dust down.
Made a different batch yesterday, added 2% vaseline to the rocket mix end wetted it with thinner then riced it as normal.
I haven't tested this mix yet, but it should compact better and produce a more solid grain.

Tested a couple of the new tubes Chris, they hold up realy well.
I pressed them on my new 12 ton press using a PVC sleeve and 200PSI on the press gauge(have to calculate the actual pressure on the rammer) and they flew beautifully!
