I found a recipe for a star on this website
but I am pretty new so what do I do when the star mix has dried? Do I put it into tubes with fuses or what?
Thanks

Also the star is not pressed into the tube (if thats what you were saying).I'm assuming that you've pumped your stars??The ID of the tube should be slightly bigger than the star (around 2mm) and should slide down the tube with ease.

Yeah the links pretty goodYour almost right, the BP shouldn't be pressed, but loosely charged. The idea that the BP be granulated is to increase surface area and allowing the flame front to travel (propagate) through the grains igniting the whole powder instantly.
