Last night at 10pm there was 3 simultaneous fireworks displays in Liverpool to mark its 800th birthday, one at the Pier Head, one at the Anglican Cathedral and one at the Metropolitan Cathedral, i only live 2 minutes from the cathedrals and i reckon the Metropolitan is more photogenic so i headed there with the camera and tripod!
Display was excellent (i forgot which company were doing it though)
Was anyone else there?

Job well done! it really was an excellent display all around, one of the best i've seen for a while.
Any ideas what happened at the Met afterwards? i heard there was fire engines called out for a fire that had started?
Anyways, cheers for the comment on the pics!
