Not sure if the plumbers tool will be sharp enough, it may just compress the cardboard.

I maybe wrong, but its worth a try! or perhaps a fast spinning thin angle grinding disc might work instead!

Mortortube - thank you, its my first time on this forum, I hope to learn and contribute to the discussions in the coming months!

Maybe it's better to buy a lot of cardboard tubes by Keten. He can make special prices and special offers for quantities. The minium order is 1000tubes/each size. Maybe we can do like this :

-1000 tubes of 3/4" diamether x 3" or 4"lenght x 2mm tickness
-1000 tubes of 1/2" diamether x 3" lenght x 2mm tickness
-1000 tubes of 1/2" diamether x 2,5" lenght x 2mm ticknes
-1000 tubes of 1/4" diamether x 2,5" lenght x 2mm tickness
-1000 tubes of 3/8" diamether x 2,5" lenght x 2mm tickness

But who wants to order it from him? Because I'm not from the United Kingdom, I hope there is anyone on this forum who can organisate this (if it's legal). I've a very good expirience with his chemicals, I think it's possible for to order a lot of tubes from him.

I doubt buying cardboard is illegal in any country.

True but 2mm thick is a little thin for some rockets

Best way iv found for cutting cardboard tubes is with a mitre saw. Can pick one up for £29.99 at argos or a fiver at a car boot sale. This saw will cut through the very thick walled tubes that i sell with no problem.

Although, in the US, if it is suspected that you are going to use it to manufacture illegal fireworks, it is! Funny old place isn't it!

Is it possible to get them in multiples of 5 and can you cut them in half so they're smaller to ship/store? I'm interested in the 3/4 inch ID tubes.

Cant sell them in lots of 5 its not practical and i just want to get them all gone to free up space. Why not just saw them in half when you recieve them to what ever size you need to fit in your work shop?
