Sorry if this idea sounds crazy but can a pringles tube made stronger with a few wraps of thick lining paper be used to a fire a mine? I know the bottom of these tubes are not very strong but I assume if they are buried adequately they should be no problem but I ain't no expert with motors so am not sure. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated thank you.
hmm maybe if you re-enforced it it would work for a mine but not shells, it would need about 5+mm strong paper re-enforcement though i would think as they are spiral wound

you`de have to put a load of staples around the base too and then fill the end with some sort of plaster (the staples provide an anchor for the cement/plaster), and then I`de want the whole thing sunk up to its neck in wet sand in a bucket.

Check e-bay for extra strong postal tubes. You can find 2", 2.5" and 3" tubes that are great for mines - with a wooden base plug they last for several shots.
If they're strong enough to stand on, they're probably fine

Tried this - the pringles tube won't survive a hard lift charge, but if you have it buried it might be usable... once...

Did you re-enforce the tube by any chance?
