i have a pyro torch but dose anyone know how to make them and dose any one have a formula i could use that could include potassium nitrate

I had a look on google for pyro torches and they're a kind of colourful flare? It would be very easy to do a simple one - potassium nitrate and sugar in a thin tube is quite bright. Adding in magnesium or aluminium would also make it much brighter. Have a look at some of the star formulas as these will give you a good idea as to what compositions give good colours. Some of these formulas may even be suitable as they are.

I hate that book, it seems at least 50% of the formulas it provides are not working.it came from magic with chemistry chapter 7 coloured fires i will give it a try tomorrow your definately right about the chlorine donor
