the weco fireworks i got from aldi was the best i ever had the weco boxis had awesome fireworks. and the benster cakes was awesome, the best cake i had was rainbow storm it was the best firework i ever had.i loved rainbow storm.i had fire works from 6pm to 12am i got tones this year but had to stop at 12am. and still had loads left ,i was not please with wecos rio rockets id say thay was 5 out of ten but the rest of weco fireworks was awesome. heres a link of all my fireworks pictures from all the ones i got this year.

I agree - I got a pack of those last year. They have a slow, weak ascent & weak burst.

The Rainbow Storm is a pretty good cake for the money - along with the Cosmos cake you had. I have used both of these in the mid section my displays for the last 2- 3 years. The Rio rockets seem to be variable from what I have seen on the forum but I have been fairly pleased with them at £1 a pop but then I tend to volley fire the rockets anywhere between 2 to 6 at a time.

As you live in Bournemouth and looking at your stash you may be interested in the Rocket Box shop in Salisbury - It is a TNT factory shop open before Bonfire night and new year only. They have some standard product at 25% off if you get there early and some specials with 50% off + their Brown Box - a damn big box for £20 supposedly at least 66% discount with loads of returns and split packaging but all perfectly OK - I had one this year and used a tiny proportion of it in my display. Mine included very small selection box cakes, larger fountains and some 5 shot cakes with about 28mm tubes and best of all a 4" mine by Millenium that I haven't tried yet. If you go there check out what diameter tubes are in the cakes and how many as TNT over package - the big stuff is very poor value but the medium stuff is pretty good value with the discount.

Yeah, I think of all the brands they are the worst for over packaging their stuff. There is a rocket box shop in Preston, they were a bit of a let down this year- they didn't have very much stock, and the staff were friendly but clueless. They are an odd brand, really- they claim to be the biggest in the World, yet don't really seem to have a very strong sales approach. They have also alienated the UKFR by refusing them permission to film at demo nights.

They don't really seem to have anything going for them. Fireworks International have some real classics in their range, Epic and Berothers are coming out with some nice, original and innovative pieces, Kimbolton have a good reputation, Planet and Fireworks Emporium have quality and all year round reliable shops, Men Shun have some good loud stuff....

But TNT, they just don't seem to have any great appeal. They really could do with some "stand out" pieces, otherwise, as far as enthusiasts are concerned, they will be very much an ignored brand.

The plus with the Salisbury branch is that they are close to their main store and are re-stocked several times per day. The TNT stuff I had was mid priced and pretty good but the best was the Millenium stuff they were selling at 50% off so I had some pretty good buys there. Generally I was happy but I did go in with a careful attitude to what I was buying. I'm still loking for a decent all year supplier in this area. A couple of shops sell stuff all year but one only does Kimbolton at top prices and the other has a very small selection and is very top price too.
