The more anxious and quick you are to progress in pyrotechnics the more likely you are to kill yourself. Take time, slow down, the period in which you are waiting for your sulphur to arrive is precious time in which you could read up on pyrotechnics and potentially avoid a fatal mistake.

Why order Sulphur? Just call in any garden center cheap and off the shelf
Because that would be flowers of sulphur; which is not ideally suited to Pyrotechnic compositions.

I make no appologies for ruining your next meal but http://come.to/pfp this sort of thing comes to people who rush pyro and especially flash. Flash is probably more dangerous than high exp1osive as it is very sensitive.
Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

so you`re better off waiting until you get your sulpher and start with BP anyway

Hi all, Im board and need something to do, but the only chemicals i have are potassium nitrate and aluminum powder.
And i was just wondering if i was able to make a weak flash powder from these. or if i didnt use the sulpher what would the reaction be? Its been 3 god damn weeks since i ordered my sulpher and i need to experiment with something!
Just be cautious.
Flash powder can be made with just aluminum and potassium nitrate in ratios of 7.7/2.3, but I just use 6/2. This won't be as loud as 5/3/2 but it'll still make noise and lots of light if that's what you're looking for.
Maybe you should get some black powder. Launching these things into the air makes better effectiveness in sound overall, the sound is much moer widespread in the air.

it`s not something I would risk unless it was at milligram scale and on an open plate.

it doesnt go off often just once normally!!! seriously though kno3/sugar rocket till you get sulphur for bp hand wind your case use clay or fire putty for a nozzle look at richard nakkas rocketry site add some wax to mix for white smoke pot enjoy!!!
Seriously, can you do everyone a favour and try to use some punctuation and grammar?? It would make your "advice" or questions much easier to understand.

Including...
Salutes
Fountains
Comets
Launching/lifting powder
Rockets
Wheel Drivers
Fuse
Stars
Sparklers
Smoke
I think that's about it. I think...
And you can write your name with a thin trail of black powder in a piece of paper and ignite it.

makes sence to me , anyway everbody's missing the point! when he gets the sulphur its going to sensitze his flash and thats not a good idea, dont do it! . grit your teeth and wait for your chems ( we've all had to do it) and start with making bp ,that will use up plenty of your time, i know! . iv'e not made half the things i want to yet
Yes it is possible to figure out the idea being conveyed. I know myself and many others are guilty of asking before searching, but the forum in general is easier to learn from and looks much better when spelling and grammar etc... are properly used. Even breaking a message into full sentences is better than a jumbled mess paragraph.
