I like a falling leaf shell or a big soft willow. After the big finale and noise one soft slow finishing effect.

What do you like cat4 or cat3

For years I've gone with either brocade\kamuro or strobe shells for the end look after the finale... and always thought it looked beautiful.

This year I went for obnoxious amounts of salute... 300g ground maroons, 6" salute mines, 3" and 4" tit salute shells and 5" timed report shells. The crowd loved it and even I was impressed (doesn't happen very often, especially on my own shows!).

NOISE!!!! I'm a convert!

I'm going to have to agree with both views...

Rig a noisy 'false finale' with a volley of salutes, then just as the applause fades, fill the sky with a single huge willow diadem shell that burns almost to the ground in a shower of glittering embers... beautiful

I agree, I think it`s nice to punctuate a display with a giant `Full Stop` in the sky that can been seen for miles also, and the Willow effect is a fave anyway.

I love giant salutes that have a chest thumping effect, they work best after a large finale

Me? I prefer something unique. Revolutionary... standard finales are so..... well, just that... strandard.

I like a gigantic shell with stars that change colour many times with a few crosettes that burst into spinning gold comets. No?

My own "shows" are quite small. I do some fountains, comets , candles and small shells one or 2 at a time. I usually save a volley of shells with several salutes for the finally or a single larger shell if I have one.

Willow effect seems to a lot of peoples choice including mine.
I do like salutes that give you a good thump in the chest though.
So many things to choose from and theres new stuff every year.

I like big salutes as well, insane large booms allways go well. I like saturn missle batteries my self but not for a finish
