I've bought a 6 shell mortar (Pirastan), 1 [16 shots] cake(Billy) and 12 [20 shots] roman candles (which i plan to fuse up in some nice way), all from Alessi, a respected brand .
I will also shoot a few homemade rockets, fountains, hummers and tourbillions...

I hope my friends will also contribute with something! ;)

What will YOU shoot?

my display will not be that fancy but i am building wistle rockets and have 10 more star mines to load, there will be a large amount of salutes used, don't know why but the guys that i will be around like the explodie stuff over the more art full stuff that takes a lot longer to make.
I also wear a vintage kevlar flak vest during the show

A 5 minute long pyromusical for the local town, about 150 shells, 40 mines + cakes, candles and some blue bengals  . It'll likely be a bundle of laughs setting it up since it's on an exposed hilltop above the town square

Cant say my new years will be as fun, just going to be wasting a box of fireworks that rolled over from nov 5th. Though me and a friend are having a challenge on making the best electrical detonator based on 3 points,

Ease of Use
Cost
Reliability

Winner buys the drinks for the night.

new years eve is best celebrated from the top of the highest hill or mountain with the biggest salute rocket on the stroke of midnight firing box in one hand glass of wine in the other!!!!

Right now, I'm celebrating New Year by pumping 'slow gold' comets in a remote, cold, rainy, unheated workshop in 95% humidity at 1:30am, with a cold, wet, dog looking at me as if I'm mad.

And I thought we only had workshops like that up here in Cumbria! BTW, all dogs think we're mad, unless of course, you happen to preparing their food :P

My new year is going to be pretty basic, just set off a big comet candle in the garden. Earlier in the evening I might set off a few more fireworks, including my Indian Fish!
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

My New Years will be quiet this year. Became a dad Dec 20, so no partying ATM. Trying to make a waterfall to set off at the neighbor's place, that'll be about it.
